Joseph's brothers
tricked His father about Coat Genesis 37
·
When the brothers got back home,
they told their father that Joseph had been  killed by a wild animal.
·
They showed him Joseph's coat, which
they had covered with goat's blood.
·
Jacob wept and tore his clothes.
·
His sons tried to comfort him.
·
However, Jacob would never stop
crying for his beloved Joseph.
                                                             The Baker's Dream Genesis 40:16-22
·
Another prisoner dreamed he had
three baskets of bread that he had baked for the king.
·
In his dream the birds kept eating
up all the bread.
·
Joseph did not have very good news about
this dream.
·
He said that in  three days you will die. Joseph told the
truth.
·
The most important dream Joseph
would hear about was just ahead.
                                                            The  King's dream Genesis 41:1-36
·
One night the king of Egypt dreamed
that seven skinny cows came from the river and ate up seven fat cows.
·
No one could figure out what the
dream meant.
·
''Call for Joseph,'' said the first
man who had told Joseph his dream in the prison.
·
They did, and God showed Joseph what
the king's dream meant.
·
There would be seven years with lots
of food.
·
Then there would be seven years with
almost no food.
