God is unchanging or immutable.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8, ESV, Psalm 102:25-27; Hebrews 1:10-12)
God is sovereign.
"How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!" (2 Samuel 7:22, NLT; Isaiah 46:9-11)
God is wise.
By wisdom the Lord founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens. (Proverbs 3:19, NLT; Romans 16:26-27; 1 Timothy 1:17)
God is holy.
"Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy." (Leviticus 19:2, ESV; 1 Peter 1:15)
God is righteous and just.
For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face. (Psalm 11:7, ESV; Deuteronomy 32:4; Psalm 119:137)
God is faithful.
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations...(Deuteronomy 7:9, ESV; Psalm 89:1-8)
God is true and truth.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6, ESV; Psalm 31:5; John 17:3; Titus 1:1-2)
God is good.
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. (Psalm 25:8, ESV; Psalm 34:8; Mark 10:18)
God is merciful.
For the Lord your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them. (Deuteronomy 4:31, ESV; Psalm 103:8-17; Daniel 9:9; Hebrews 2:17)
God is gracious.
Exodus 34:6 (ESV)
The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness..." (Exodus 34:6, ESV; Psalm 103:8; 1 Peter 5:10)
God is love.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16, ESV; Romans 5:8; 1 John 4:8)
God is spirit.
"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24, ESV)
God is light.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17, ESV; 1 John 1:5)
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19, ESV; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
