Must we obey  God all the time?

·        Our sin is a very serious thing.

·        When do we break God's law? Every time we do something wrong.

·        God loves us even when we sin but He cannot just overlook our sin.

·        Every sin against God's law must be punished.

·        Obeying God most of the time is not good enough.

·        If you could obey God your whole life and sin against Him only one time that one sin would be enough to make you guilty before God.

·        The punishment  for sin against God is very severe.

·        As God told Adam in the garden the penalty of sin is everlasting spiritual death.

·        There is no way we could pay for our own sins without suffering forever in hell.

·        A person might follow all of God's law. But if he fails to obey even one command he is guilty of breaking all the commands in that law. James 2:10

·        My guilt has overwhelmed me. Like a load it weighs me down. Psalm 38:4
