Winter Conferences

INK (Internationals for God’s Kingdom)

Dec. 27 – Jan. 1 at NorthBay Adventure Camp in North East, Maryland; sponsored by InterVarsity ISM (International Student Ministry), International Friendships Inc., and several churches

This conference is for Christian internationals either still in school or out of school. There will be special workshops on post-academic transition challenges in addition to other topics that are aimed at providing training, encouragement and inspiration for Christian internationals in the call to action based on love. Following Christ

Dec. 27 – Dec. 31 at the Marriott Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois; sponsored by InterVarsity Graduate and Faculty Ministries and InterVarsity Press)

Following Christ 2008 is a conference for graduate students, faculty, and professionals which is designed to help them flourish as followers of Christ and as leaders in their fields, and also to equip them to help others flourish. Visit followingchrist.org for more info. Non-Christians who attend should consider taking the Doubting Jesus Track. The early registration deadline is this Friday, Oct. 31. While the overall conference is not just for internationals, there is a special “day ahead” session on Dec. 27 for international students and scholars.
