Dear God Thank you for giving us the Bible. Thank you for sending your only Son Jesus who died on the cross for us. Please God forgive our sins. Thank you God for your words. In Jesus name amen.

Life of Jesus Story #26 

It was passover the time when God's people remembered how God has rescued them from being slaves in Egypt. Every year they killed a lamb and ate it. The lamb died instead of us they would say. But this passover God was getting ready for an even Greater Rescue. Therefore, Jesus and his friends were having the passover meal together in an upstairs room but Jesus friends were arguing. What about They were arguing about stinky feet. Quickly Jesus got up from the table took off his robe picked up a basin of water knelt down and started wash his friends feet.

Jesus' enemies were desperate.

Jesus was a hero

. If they arrested him now there would be a riot.

 They couldn't believe their luck when one of Jesus' disciples turned traitor.

The traitor was Judas Iscariot.

He told the enemies I'll take you to him when there were no crowds.

They agreed to give Judas thirty silver pieces as a reward

Life of Jesus story  #24

The Temple building stood in a vast courtyard. This was the only place where non-Jews could pray. Here money-chargers had set up their scales and traders sold lambs and birds for Temple sacrifices. They often charged too much and made an unfair profit. Jesus knew what he had to do. He strode into the Temple and threw them all out. You've turned the house of prayer into a robbers den he shouted. This was very thing the Old Testament preachers had said the Messiah would do. The religious leaders trembled. We must kill him they said. Jesus spent the night the night back in Bethany. Jesus throws the traders out of the temple.. In addition, Jesus went back to the Temple courtyard and talked to the crowds of people. The Pharisees and Sadducees tried to trap him with trick questions but he was too clever for them.

Sunday: Jesus rode into Jerusalem amid cheering crowd. He looked around the Temple and then  left his friends to spend the night in Bethany. In addition, Jesus sent two of his friends ahead of him to Bethany. As you enter the town you'll see a young donkey he said, untie it and bring it to me. Jesus planned to ride the last part of the journey into Jerusalem. When Jesus rode over the top the Mount of Olives and saw Jerusalem ahead he wept One day he said you will be in ruins. Forty years later Jesus words came true.

We worship God through his Spirit we are proud to be in Christ Jesus. And we do not trust in ourselves our anything we can do.

Blind Barthimaeus Receives #2 Mark 10:48-56

·         Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet

·         but be shouted all the more son of David have mercy

·         on me. Jesus stopped and said call him.

·         So they called to the blind man. Cheer up

·         On your feet He's calling you.

·         Throwing his cloak aside he jumped to

·         his feet and came to Jesus.  what do you want me  do for

·         you Jesus asked him. The Blind man said rabbi I want to see.

·         Go said, Jesus   your faith has healed you

·         Immediately he received his sight and followed

·         along to read.

·        crowd were leaving the city  a blind man

·        Barthimaeus that is the Son of Timeaus was sitting by the

·        roadside begging when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth

·        He began to shout Jesus Son of David have mercy on me.
