He Set Me Apart

“But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace…” (Galatians 1:15)

God owns our ministries. The work we do for him every day is his work. His agenda. His purposes. He set each of us apart before we were born. Then, at some point, he calls. He has work for us to do each day. His work. His agenda. And he will reveal it to us in ways we can understand, if only we are looking for him.

1. Do you think of yourself as called and set apart by God? If not, why not?
2. How do you view your daily plans? Are they yours, just to get through the day, doing your job?
3. How could you make room for God’s plans in your day? What could you do to consult with him and look for him to speak in ways you can understand?
