O Lord, Almighty what comfort I find in your constancy and faithfulness. You are the same God who hung the stars in the universe and called them by name. You've heard the prayers of troubled souls since the beginning  of time and yet you never stop listening. In addition, thank you Lord for your constant sovereignty and your unfailing love. You are indeed our comfort and our strength when all about us seems to be falling apart.

The sting of rejection lingers long after it has been inflicted. It often creates an aversion to drawing near to the very thing that can bring healing love through a relationship with God. It takes a certain willingness to risk reaching out to be forgiven by God if we ever hope to find wholeness again. But there is no more worthless risk than that which risks for the sale of God's love.

Living with stress causes so  many health problems not to mention strain on your mental and emotional state. Perhaps you cannot remove everything in life that causes you stress but you can approach it  with a sense of inner peace that makes you unshakeable and unstoppable. Life will never be perfectly calm but as long as you are within where God lives and moves and has his being it won't matter what is happening on the outside.

Merry Christmas! Thank you, Lord for this special day. It is the birthday of your son, Jesus and a bright and beautiful day for the world. Today I am grateful for rebirth for celebrations for sharing traditions with the people I love. Thank you for the gift of joy and new life.
