christ emptied himself

Christ Emptied Himself Page 87The complex Person of Jesus Christ can be known by grace,
but He cannot be fully known. God the Father hides things
from the wise and prudent. The wise and
prudent are not those who are truly wise and truly prudent, but those who are wise and prudent in their own eyes.
Such persons are blind proud covetous and prejudiced. Their problem is something that no preacher  cancure. If the sovereign God does not give sight and change theirproud hearts they will never know Jesus Christ. Wise men ofthe world by their wisdom know not God.

genesis summary lesson 1

Genesis Summary lesson 1

Genesis: As the indicates, Genesis is a book of beginnings the word ''Genesis'' comes from the Greek term meaning origin source birth or beginning. In its description of God's creation of the world, the fall of man the origins  of the peoples of the earth and the beginning of God's covenant relationship with chosen people Israel the book of Genesis of provides the context and sets the stage for the rest of Scripture. Although the book of Genesis does not name its to author Scripture and much of church history ascribes the book to Moses. Both the Old and New Testaments repeatedly testify to the Mosaic authorship of the Pentateuch.

Accomplishment

I have fought the good fight I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteous which the Lord the righteous Judge will award to me  on that day and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing. I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead I  press on toward the goal win  to the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus Only let as live up to what we have already attained. Everyone may eat and drink and find satisfaction in all toil- this gift of God. Lord you establish peace for us all that we have accomplished you have done for us. A longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for  sake of Christ What is more I consider everything a low compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus  my Lord for whose sake I have lost all things I consider them rubbish that may gain Christ and found in him not having a righteousness of own that comes from the law but that which is through faith in Christ the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

friday devational

The salvation of II Timothy 1:9 includes everything that qualifies the elect to hear the effectual call. The idea that believing is the most important thing is salvation is not only fragmentary but heretical. Salvation the gift of life must be purposed purchased and applied before it can believed. It must be applied before there can any response to the call. The gift of life is outside recipient in its application the sovereign Spirit applies the gift of life. In addition, Paul instructed Timothy concerning his preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

THE DEATH OF MOSES

The Death of Moses
Deuteronomy 34:1-12
Today I'm 120 years old Moses told Israel
The Lord has said that I'll not go into
Canaan. So the time has come for me to
die. But the Lord will go into land with you.
So be strong and brave and always keep God's
law. The Lord will not fail nor leave you.
Moses then went into the tabernacle to God. The
pillar of cloud stood over the door the tent.
That day Moses left the camp alone. He slowly
climbed to the top of Mount Nebo. There is
the land I promised to Abraham Isaac and
Jacob You can look at it from here but you can't
go in and Moses gazed at the promised but across the river.
Moses was still strong and his eyes were good.
But he lay down on the mountain and died just as
God wanted. No one was there to bury him, so
God did the job. No one knows where he is
buried. There was never again anyone like Moses.
The  Lord knew him face-to-face. And Israel

mourned for thirty days.

simple faith

His grace is sufficient for difficult days. We are troubled on every side yet not distressed we are perplexed  but not in despair. 2 Corinthians 4:5
God given faith is beyond that which is natural Since God given faith is supernatural with relation to its origins it must be contrasted with   natural faith.  Supernatural faith is not infected with depravity Natural faith is infected with depravity. The whole man was infected with depravity in the fall in the garden of Eden. Therefore every person who comes into this world is depraved He is dead is trespasses and sins and inoperative in spiritual things.

the bible library

Bible the Bible Library

There are many surprises in the Bible. The first surprise is that it's not one book but a library of books. There are 66 books in the Bible. More than 35 people wrote were the books of the Bible. Some were wealthy and powerful others were uneducated people with ordinary jobs. They wrote with God's help about the things God had said and done. The Bible is a library of books. The Bible is divided into two the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament was written before Jesus was born; the New testament was written after Jesus was born. The Old Testament has 39 books and the New Testament  has 27 books.

Can I be forgiven for all my sins?
The Bible says that God can forgive any sinner who asks to be,
forgiven and believes  in Jesus Christ God can forgive sin and still
be a holy God because Jesus was punished for our sin.
God can also treat believers as if they were
perfect. That's because they get credit for
every good thing Jesus ever did during.
His perfect life on  earth. All his perfect
goodness covers  them like a clean white robe.
Q What must we do to be forgiven?
A Believes in Jesus.
Now that I belong to Christ.
I am right with God and this
being right does not come
from my following the law.
It comes from God

through faith.

Praise Him and thank him

Our prayers for you are always spilling over into thanksgiving. We can't quit thanking God our Father and Jesus our Messiah for you. Colossians 1:3. Sometimes life here on earth can be complicated demanding and busy. When the demands of life leave us rushing from place to place with scarcely a moment to spare we may fail to pause and say a word of thanks for all the good things we've received. But when fail to count our blessings we rob ourselves of the happiness the gratitude that should rightfully he outs. Today even if you've busily engaged in life slow down long enough  to start counting your blessing. You most certainly will not be count them all but take a few moments to jot down as blessing as you can. Then give thanks to the Giver of all give good things God. His love for you eternal as are His gifts And its never too soon or too late to  offer Him thanks.

Q:  What the difference between Gospel and Gossip?

a: Gospel is Christ's good news have you heard the good news  Jesus died so you can live forever. The good news is called the gospel God sent His Son Jesus into the world to live among people. While He was here Jesus knew taught about God. Jesus knew that earthly  life would be short. He know He would die on a cross and three days later rise up from the  dead. That is what happened. Jesus suffered the pain of death so all believers would be forgiven for their sins. He promised that whoever believes in Him will not die but will live forever with God. So spread the good news Tell your friends about Jesus Ask them to believe. In addition, Gossip is to talk about people behind their backs. Gossiping is telling stories about people.  It is spreading rumors and repeating so-called secrets The Bible warns about saying things that you know  you shouldn't The book of Proverbs says Gossip is no god it causes hard feeling and comes between friends. True Christian should not gossip..
